Mangini and the Jets can make a statement tomorrow night.
Tomorrow night the Jets will play the biggest game of their season, and perhaps the team's biggest game since 2002.
Tomorrow night, a red-hot Jets team will play a wounded, vulnerable Patriots team in a game that will go a long way in determining the AFC East pecking order.
Not only that, this is New York's chance to show they are among the NFL's elite; a place they haven't been since a young Chad Pennington lit up Tom Brady and Brett Favre en route to the Jets' second-ever AFC East title six years ago.
The Jets haven't played close to that level ever since. Until now.
It's all out for the taking for Eric Mangini and the Jets. The Pats will throw their fourth string running back against the Jet's 3rd ranked run defense. Brett Favre has become a game manager, and Eric looks like a Mangenius.
Will it be enough? We'll see tomorrow night.
