Chip City Williamsburg launches campaign to support local restaurants

Chip City, Williamsburg's newest and now coolest cookie bakery located at 123 Kent Ave., has purchased a $200 gift card from four (4) local Williamsburg restaurants and is giving them away to fans each Friday in January.

Want to enter this giveaway? Simply stop by Chip City Williamsburg on any Friday in January, order their delicious, highly coveted Cinnamon Roll Cookie, post a photo of your cookie and tag @chipnewyorkcity on an Instagram story post to be eligible to win the $200 gift card to a local restaurant.

The first gift card was 8awarded to Mathew Belio, who posted a photo of his Cinnamon Roll at home, along with Yoda from Star Wars. Mathew received a $200 gift card to local restaurant "12 Chairs," a local Israeli Restaurant in Williamsburg.

This week's restaurant partner is Mekelburg's located at Domino Park in Williamsburg. All Chip City customers who purchase a Cinnamon Roll Cookie on Friday, 1/15, and tag @chipnewyorkcity in a story post of the cookie on Instagram will be entered into the contest. *You must make your profile public for 24 hours after your post - to ensure that the Chip City Team can see your post.*

"We thank the Williamsburg Community for giving us had such a warm welcome during these past few months," said Theodore Gailas, founding partner of Chip City, a retail cookie bakery with 6 locations in NYC and a mobile food truck.  "It's so important, especially now, that local businesses come together to support each other in any way they can," added Gailas.
