Man tries to rob Chase bank in Williamsburg

Police are searching for a man who tried to rob a Chase bank near the Broadway Triangle.

Authorities say that yesterday at 2:15 p.m., the man entered the bank at 12 Graham Avenue. He approached a 26-year-old bank teller and passed her a note demanding money.

The teller refused, authorities said, and the man left without any funds.

He was last seen wearing a blue Yankees cap, a green jacket and a black garbage bag, as seen in the photo above.
